A Blood Donation Camp was organized under the auspicious blessings of Guruvarya Param Pujya Sahebji by Anoopam Mission at its Social Welfare Centre, Kharghar on Sunday, 16th March 2008. The Camp was conducted with the support of B.Y.L. Nair Hospital’s Blood Bank.

The Camp was inaugurated by Pujya Dr J K Nath (Ex-chairman – Standing Committee Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation), Pujya Anjani Kumar (Addl Commissioner of Central Excise), Pujya Hasmukhbhai (General Secretary, Gujarat Samaj, Navi Mumbai) and Pujya Dr Sangitaben (Panel Member, B.Y.L. Nair Hospital). Swaminarayan Shlokas were recited while Pujya Dineshbhai welcomed all the dignitaries by doing pujan and offering them flowers. The camp was then declared open to the public.

Mumbai Yuvak Mandal offered their services by staying overnight from the previous day and cleaning the stilt area for the Camp. They decorated the place with banners and flags. Pamphlets were distributed in the surrounding Kharghar area. Pujya Sandeep Garat helped the cause by inserting an announcement band in the local TV cable.

Many devotees and well wishers from the surrounding areas donated blood with enthusiasm. The Blood Donation Camp inspired by Guruvarya Param Pujya Sahebji and carried over under the leadership of Pujya Dineshbhai, Pujya Haribhai, Pujya Yagneshbhai, Pujya Pareshbhai and Pujya Keyurbhai was successfully concluded at about 2 pm.
