State was badly hit by Torrential Rain and subsequent
Flood situation due to overflow of rivers and
dams in last 10 days. Central Gujarat was worst
affected area of the state. Anoopam Mission was
the foremost organisation to launch the Relief
work inspired by Guruvarya Param Pujya Sahebji in
the early hours of the situation. |

Power
was cut off in the district for days. All the
means of Transportation including Air, Railway,
Roads were affected and closed.
There was water everywhere but not a drop to drink.
Against all the odds Vratdhari Sadhaks and Youth
Volunteers reached to the interiors of villages
and townships of Mogri, Mafatpura, Vitthal Udyognagar,
Vallabh Vidyanagar, Karamsad, Bakrol, Anand and
vicinity. They started shifting people and were
offered shelter. Food, Milk, Vegetables, Drinking
Water etc. were distributed to the flood affected
areas without any discrimination of caste and
creed. The help was provided to the people of
Slums in the villages as well as to the people
of Bungalows.
Guruvarya Param Pujya Sahebji provided guidance
to the relief work from USA and instructed all
the Centres and Haribhakts around the world to
start Prayers. |
