About Anoopam Mission :
Anoopam Mission is a spiritual and voluntary organization, committed to the welfare, development and empowerment of underprivileged children. Guruvarya Param Pujya Sahebji is the President and spiritual leader of this organization. His Guru - Brahmaswarup Param Pujya Yogiji Maharaj believed that the best way to serve God was to learn to recognize that God exists within every individual and therefore ‘To serve Humanity is to serve God’. This teaching, is the hallmark of all of Anoopam Mission’s charitable activities, which span the fields of Education, Health, Relief and Social Welfare. Out of these activities, Education is at the heart of our work.

Anoopam Mission manages several Educational Institutes in various rural areas of Gujarat State, under the umbrella of Yogi Vidyapeeth. The institutes include a school from Kindergarten to the 10th standard, an Arts & Commerce College and a Primary Teachers Training College for Women, a Computer Training Centre and a Technical Institute which offers various job-oriented courses and a school for Mentally Challenged & Physically Disabled Children. An ongoing project, Dharma Bhakti Niketan, is a Rehabilitation Centre for Earthquake Victim Children of Kutch district who lost either one or both of parents during the earthquake disaster 2001.

What is 'Children of Mother Soil' (COMS) ?

COMS is a sponsorship program for underprivileged children of rural areas. Through this scheme, needy children receive sponsorship and have access to their basic right of EDUCATION.
For just Rs. 16.44 / £ 0.25 / $ 0.40 per day, a needy child can go to school with all expenses relating to school fees, text books and stationary, school uniforms, shoes, yearly medical check-up and educational tour, being covered. Anoopam Mission bears the responsibility of intimating the sponsor on the progress of the child they adopt and / or sponsor.

What are the ways to participate in the COMS scheme?
• Adopt and / or sponsor a child for one year OR
• Create a permanent Educational Fund that can generate a constant interest income equivalent to one year expense of a child / children.

How do I become a sponsor?
The most efficient way to become a sponsor is to send your name and address with your contribution and any preferences about your child (boy or girl, earthquake victim or a mentally challenged & physically disabled child) at any of the below mentioned Anoopam Mission centre world wide :
